Cloud Nine

Cloud nine is an independent specialist gift shop full of unique (and often sparkly) gifts based in our hometown of Southampton. 

We stock Hundreds of Crystals and Gemstones, several Premium brands of Incense with almost 200 different scents to choose from, Fairies, Goblins and Dragons, unique and thoughtful Gifts.

Originally selling online We joined The Marlands Centre in 2013. The management had just started a new initiative called The Loft Ladder, a space which was split into sections for independent retailers to share. We called our business The Cave and moved in in 2013, It's hard to believe we have been in the Marlands for 12 years this year.

It was such a cool place, often called a 'mini Camden' Those early days were fun, each of us growing our little businesses and turning our dreams into realities The Loft Ladder became very popular with customers of all ages.

One of the many things we enjoyed was sharing the happiness of our customers when they found that special gift, they were looking for...  seeing our customers finding their perfect Crystal and searching out Magical Goodies for their 'sacred spaces' and fairy gardens etc…

Our space in the Loft became jampacked full of beautiful Gems, and Unique Gifts, smelly incense all inspired by You, with so many fairies’ trolls, and pixies we were bursting at the seams, our little space really was a Cave of treasure.  

When we learned that the Loft would close due to unforeseen circumstances, we were very upset. Over the years we had grown to love Our shop, our customers, Our neighbours and colleagues , and had enjoyed our time in The Marlands, When we started to tell our customers the news, there was genuine sadness that we were leaving, but we had been outgrowing our space in The Loft, so maybe this was the 'push' we had needed.…. and maybe just as we thought things were falling apart, things were just beginning....and I felt sure that we hadn't come this far to come this far!

There was panic and some powerful manifesting over the next few weeks, it was difficult to move out of Panic mode into that creative feeling of excitement of what was to come…

During this time, you showed us so much support and encouragement.

Co-Creating with us, imagining the new shop we all wanted. We believed we would soon have a better shop with more space and light for us all...

The Marlands management team helped as much as they could, so we felt over the moon when a unit became available, and they offered it to us.

We moved into our own shop right next door to the old Loft Ladder and Stakks Pancakes and changed the name of our shop to 'Cloud Nine' as we felt it suited the happy vibe better.

We now have a beautiful, bright space bringing together the largest range of Gemstones, and Crystals, Fairies and Dragons, Jewellery and wonderful gifts all together in one place.

We want to Thank You so much from the bottom of our hearts for all your support and patience through all the hard times, the changes and upheavals and to remind you every time you support an independent business you are part of someone's dream coming true! 

Our work ethos is simple, to make sure our customers are happy by providing an enjoyable shopping experience.
